Ben Franklin Visit - April 2013

Ben Franklin is the mascot for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago's Money Smart Week Program.  To help students raise their awareness of economics and money, Ben Franklin is available to visit area classrooms, libraries, clubs, and more during the entire month of April 2013!  Mr. Franklin's visit takes about 25 minutes to talk with kids about how important it is to learn good money management and saving skills, answer student questions, and give each student his comic book, "Be Money Smart."

Ben Franklin is actually a PLAYologist from The Iowa Children's Museum dressed in costume to act the role of Mr. Franklin.  Our exceptional, historically accurate Ben Franklin character is available to come and visit your youth group or classroom at no cost during the month of April on the following days/times.

Tuesdays: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Wednesday: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Thursdays: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Fridays: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

Saturdays: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Another museum PLAYologist will accompany Ben Franklin on your visit and give the formal introduction.  Please contact Deb Dunkhase at ddunkhase@theicm.org or call 625-6255 x210 to schedule your Ben Franklin visit soon.  Time slots are limited.
