Playing to Learn is SERIOUS FUN at The Iowa Children's Museum!

The ICM currently offers three different types of fun-filled, educational field trips for your class or group to enjoy!

Self-Guided Field Trip

After a brief orientation, your group is free to explore The ICM's exhibits and galleries at your own pace.  Chaperones must stay with the children in your group at all times during this field trip experience.

Self-Guided Field Trip Information

  • Nonprofits: Cost is $3.50 per child (chaperones are free)
  • Other Groups: Cost is $5.00 per child (chaperones are free)
  • Times are available Monday - Saturday
  • Field Trip lasts 90 minutes
  • Developmentally appropriate for preschool through grade six
