The Iowa Children's Museum is the perfect place to host your next special event, exclusive birthday party, office party or meeting. The engaging hands-on exhibits, large theatre area and colorful private rooms provide an environment that will delight all your guests...whether it's a meeting for 25 or a party for 250! Host an adults only party, or by all means, include the kids for a unique family event that will provide SERIOUS FUN!

We know kids love The Iowa Children's Museum, but imagine the fun adults can have! It's a great way to boost employee morale, hold a creative planning session or throw a unique 'over the hill' birthday party! Let your imagination run wild - the possibilities are endless! And the choice is yours...rent one of our private rooms, the theatre or the entire museum! You will be a star when you host your next party at The Iowa Children's Museum!

Exclusive Museum Rental:

• $1000 for 4 hours, up to 100 people
• $100 each additional hour
• Additional fee for over 100 people
• Free museum play for all guests!
• Available after 6:30pm

Theatre Only Rental (for up to 100 people):

• $350 a day during museum hours
• $500 for up to 4 hours after museum hours
• Available Sunday-Thursday

Private Party Room

• $150 a day, up to 30 people
• Available Monday-Friday

Special Activities Available

• $50 per hour (face painting, making KICM videos, hands-on children's activities, etc.)
• $3.50 per person for museum play

Catering welcome. Subject to availability. Prices subject to change. Custom packages available.
