| Description |
FREE WORKSHOP & MUSEUM ADMISSION to registered participants! Create fantastic Overhead Bots (special robots that live on overhead projectors) with University of Iowa professionals! Watch your robot become animated with dots, lines, and colors that move around and form an ever-changing image projected onto the walls of The Iowa Children's Museum. Participants can make their own experience in building and designing small autonomous creatures based on the work of Denmark artist Christian Faubel. An adult Chaperone is required. Participants must be 6 years or older. Limited to 20 children per workshop. Reservations required, call Deb at 625-6255, x210 or email ddunkhase@theicm.org. Other dates/times for this workshop: Sunday, May 31st: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Sunday, June 14th: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Sunday, June 21st: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, and Sunday, June 28th: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
